Can it get any better?
I mean honestly, a band thats less than 6 months old, what's your first reaction? You wonder how good they're going to be, how professional they're going to sound so you listen to the cd. You think "it couldn't hurt" and "i'll give 'em a shot". So you listen to it... the first song comes on, and it sounds like some MxPx type music. Now you're thinking... "well.. this is cool..." so you move onto the next song wondering if it'll all sound the same. As you listen to the second song you realize that your previous thoughts aren't exactly true. The next song is still a little MxPx but with some Mest sound to it. How do you mix the two? Ask RC.
Red Chester is not your typical pop-punk band. With catchy lines like "All the right things/Said at all the wrong times" from "Flatline", they're bound to spark your interest. Impressive? I'd say so. The CD is catchy without being annoying. It's a cd to make you smile, definitely one that'll stay in heavy rotation in my stereo for a while. Although the lyrics aren't your typical "my girlfriend dumped me, so im going to sleep with her roomates", it's one of the best so far. I wish them much luck in the CT scene and I predict they're going to go far. So Ladies and Gentlemen, I happily present to you, Red Chester... please remember to rewind... and enjoy!
