This three-piece rock band from Canada show off their stuff in their latest release, "Watching The Girls Go Bi". Don't expect your typical Canadian pop-punk band (see: Simple Plan). Instead, you get driving drums, better lyrics, and a voice that just doesn't grate on your nerves.

The album opens with "Decide Inside", the video for which has made its way into rotation on Canada's MuchMusic (the equivalent of MTV here in the States). However, it wasn't until the second track, "Budget Nudist" that I began to get into this disc. By the time my favorite track rolled around, "The Newer Me" I was hooked. Possibly one of the best parts was the fact that there was variation from song to song. I could tell the difference between tracks, there was no monotony. And that my friends, is a big plus. "Lost" is another favorite, with lines such as "If I'm down I'm lost, not found..." it will become one of yours too. Track # 10, "Herb Eaverstank" with the line "Fuck you my dear," adds a caustic edge to the album. "Watching The Girls Go Bi" closes out with "It Is Said", a song about not living life someone else's way.

Overall, this album has excellent drum and guitar arrangements that will keep your head bopping, or your foot tapping throughout the CD. It is definitely worth a listen to, whether you are into punk or alternative rock. It's a good deviation from the normal sounds flooding the radio stations, and reminds you that not everything these days has to sound the same.
