Boxcar Racer, H2O, Finch, Taking Back Sunday, The Used

About 2 months of waiting had gone by before the night of this show came. I am a BIG fan of H2O, TBS, and The Used, so it was an almost perfect tour. We arrived at the venue at 6:45 and the show started at 7:00. I was most disappointed at their decision to have TBS start early. I ended up missing their whole set excluding their last song, being 'Timberwolves at New Jersey'.

We waited the normal about 15 minutes until the Used came on. They came onstage to medieval-type music, and went directly into their song 'Maybe Memories'. The band played a great set, including their two hits 'Taste of Ink' and 'A Box Full of Sharp Objects'. I don't recall which song they played last, but I know it was a crowd pleaser and it got everyone moving.

Next up was H2O, one of the most respectable bands that I love. They played a great set including "Guilty By Association" off of 1999's F.T.T.W. They also played fairly new material, "Role Model" and their cover of "Like A Prayer" off of Go! and "Static" off of their new EP 'All We Want'. They played a great set, but to my disapproval, the crowd was horrible. I was greatly displeased at the crowd during H2O's set. In my opinion H2O played a great show and I can't wait till they come back. They ended their set with an energetic version of "Like A Prayer"

Finch was next. They played a good set to a good crowd. They played hits such as "Letter's to You", "Post Script", and "Untitled". For the times I have seen Finch play I'd have to say I didn't like this time around as much as the last time I saw them.

Box Car Racer was next. They took FOREVER to set up for them. We only stayed for one song, since myself and the people I went with aren't exactly fans of Box Car Racer. We stayed long enough to hear "All Systems Go" and a mini drum solo by Travis, whom I give respect as a musician.

All in all this was a pretty good show. I was disappointed in missing one of my favorite bands, TBS, but the shows given by The Used and H2O certainly paid for that.
